things I probably shouldn't regret but do anyway:

+ not going to either of my high school proms because my mother wouldn’t let me go without a male date
+ making an ass out of myself at that seventh grade dance (I never lived it down)
+ listening to most of my high school friends when they would berate me for everything I did
+ for that matter, listening to anything Sue ever said
+ cutting my hair
